We will see above average temperatures for a majority of the week. Also seeing near record temperatures, over 100 degrees mid week. After the warming trend, we will see slightly cooler temperatures by next weekend.

The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning starting Tuesday afternoon to Thursday night. During this time, take extra precautions. Never leave children or pets in a parked car, wear light colored clothing, stay hydrated while avoiding strenuous activity, and try to stay near shade or A.C.

As for Memorial Day, possibly reaching 100 degrees for the high. Air quality will remain in the moderate range, with an AQI of 100.
