Central California is seeing an improvement in air quality and visibility. Most counties are projected to stay in the moderate range for Monday, however Kern County will have an AQI of 101. This will be considered unhealthy for the sensitive groups. Sequoia National Park in Tulare County will also see unhealthy air quality for Monday, but for the general population. We will continue to monitor smoke from the California wildfires.

Kern County will experience a warming trend, with temperatures in the 90's until Tuesday. From there temperatures will drop into the high 80's for a majority of the week. An upward trend will hit late next weekend as a high pressure ridge starts to form over the west coast, causing temperatures to rise in Central California.
