Vania Patino joined 23ABC in September 2021.
Growing up watching her parents rely on the news to navigate a new country, she realized the importance of local reporting.
She stumbled across journalism in high school when she joined the school newspaper and then continued to pursue her dreams at Cal State Fullerton, where she graduated in 2020 with a B.A in Communications. Go Titans!
Vania has since worked at NBC and Telemundo Los Angeles and at a CBS affiliate in Amarillo, Texas where she was a bilingual reporter. (Se habla español!)
She is happy to be back in her home state of California serving the communities in the Central Valley.
