UFW helps deliver 4,000 meals to farm worker families in Delano impacts by COVID-19
More than 4,000 prepared meals were distributed to farm worker families suffering during the COVID-19 crisis on Wednesday.
The United Farm Workers Foundation said the effort was made possible by the World Central Kitchen, in coordination with the United Farm Workers and Cesar Chavez Foundation.
The meals, handed to motorists as their cars drive by at the farm worker movement's Forty Acres property, were prepared by local restaurants.
