BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — According to BPD, early Saturday morning a fatal car crash left a man dead.
An investigation into the crash shows that the man let his car drift into the oncoming traffic and hit another car in 3400 block of Panama Lane.
Authorities identified Carlos Nathan Duarte Jr., 25, of Bakersfield, as the man killed in the crash.
The driver of the other car was not injured, and it was determined that she was not under the influence.
