BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Authorities are investigating a fatal accident in Kern County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Highway 58 near the Frito Lay plant and involved two vehicles.
CHP reports that one vehicle ended up on its roof.
The west and eastbound lanes were temporarily closed during the investigation of the accident.
