The 2020 Tour de France race will be run from Saturday, August 29 to Sunday, September 20 on the same route it was intended on.
The decision comes during a time when sports have been put on a standstill to help prevent the outbreak of COVID-19.
This is the first time since World War II that the race has not been held as scheduled.
