BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Condors are trending in the wrong direction as the end of the season nears. The 'Dors have dropped their last seven games and now sit in sixth place out of seven in the AHL Pacific Standings.
Part of the Condors' troubles have come from the poaching the Edmonton Oilers have done. During this season, the Condors have watched seven players go play in Edmonton and a total of nine in the last two seasons.
The Oilers played Sunday night and their lineup consisted of Tyler Benson, Kailer Yamamoto, Patrick Russell, Ethan Bear, William Lagesson and Caleb Jones. Those are all players who have been in Bakersfield at some point in the last year.
The Oilers got the win which is nothing new. They are 33-22 and in second place in the NHL Pacific Division.
