BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The North High School gym was rocking on Wednesday as four remaining teams advanced to championship games in the SYC Basketball Championship tournament.
For the boys, Garces Memorial will take on Bakersfield High School at 7:30 Thursday. Garces pushed through Bakersfield Christian to advance while BHS put on an offensive clinic against North.
For the girls, Tehachapi edged out North High while Bakersfield pushed past Liberty. The Warriors and Drillers will face each other at 6 p.m.
