BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The American Hockey League is making changes to the COVID-altered schedule after the Stockton Heat announced they will stay in Calgary this season.
The Heat was reportedly trying to work out clearance to play in Stockton when San Joaquin County health officials say they were notified by team officials that they would stay in Calgary with its parent club and play their games in the AHL's Canadian Division.
The league is nowreworking the schedule.
