BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield native Erica McCall got the call from the Atlanta Dream in July that she'd be joining the team ahead of the start of the 2020 WNBA season following an offseason release by her former team Indiana Fever.

23ABC Sports Director Kari Osep caught up with the Ridgeview grad to talk about her recent experiences in the WNBA's 'Wubble' in Florida with her new team, her excitement to get back out on the court after spending some time in free agency and how the game of basketball is a family matter for the McCall's.

The one-on-one interview was broken up into a three-part series that aired before the season kicked off on Saturday, July 25.
