Local student-athletes sign National Letter of Intent

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — All across town local student-athletes put pen to paper to sign their National Letters of Intent on National Signing Day Wednesday.

At Garces, Ebube Ekpemogu signed to continue his soccer career at Cal State Bakersfield.

At Frontier, five total Titans sign to continue their playing careers:

Wrestler Garrett Fletcher signed to compete at NAIA Emery-Riddle Aeronautical, while fellow wrestling teammate Jose Landin signed to compete at Cal State Bakersfield.

Volleyball setter Hailey Plugge signed with Wichita State.

Kris Anglin, the lefty who led his team to a Central Section Division I championship game, signed with the Roadrunners.

Tommy Hopfe, senior catcher and pitcher signed with Fresno State.

Over at Highland, Nick Salas the two-sport athlete will continue his baseball career at CSUB following success on the diamond and football field.
