BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In Shane Starrett's rookie season between the pipes for the Condors, he's emerged as one of the top goaltenders in the American Hockey League.

He made 42 appearances in net this season and has a record of 27-7-5 – including a personal 14-game winning streak from Jan. 12 to Feb. 25. Starrett also ranks in the top five of the league for save percentage (0.918) and wins (27) and has recorded four shutouts.

Those stats have helped Starrett earn two regular season honors by being named to AHL Second All-Star Team and the AHL All-Rookie Team.

He'll now look to lead his team from the net in the Condors' first Calder Cup Playoff run that begins on Friday in Colorado.
