BCHS seeks redemption against Kerman on its home court, advancing to valley title game

BAKERSFIELD, Ca. — A year ago, Kerman sent Bakersfield Christian home without a valley championship. This time around, the Eagles advanced for a repeat trip to the D-4 Sectional Title game by taking out Kerman at home. As the top-seed, the Eagles made their statement of redemption Wednesday night, winning 69-49 in the semifinal.

Senior Kadar Waller led with 20 points, while sophomore Lendl Henderson followed up with 16 points. Ben Yurosek had nine points and 13 rebounds.

BCHS will play No. 3 Foothill in Saturday's noon title game in Fresno, after the Trojans beat Visalia-Central Valley Christian 80-74.
