BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Frontier Titans defeated Bakersfield Christian on the court in a one-set match but the Eagles sought redemption on Tuesday night with a sweep at home.

BCHS rallied 27-25, 25-21, 25-21 after falling behind in each set. BCHS Head Coach Matt Touchstone was impressed by his team's resiliency.

"That we're starting to fight. They are starting to battle. They got down pretty big in the first game, fought our way back. Game two same thing, down a little bit, fought our way back, so it's nice to see them kind of battle for things," Touchstone said. "The girls did a good job of our game plan so it started off a little rocky but then they took care of business after that. It's a really good win for the girls."

These teams could have a chance to meet up again in the Central Section D-II playoffs and Tuesday's win could help the Eagles with seeding.
