BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Tommy John and Rick Vanderhook were on hand for Garces Memorial's inagural Hot Stove Dinner to fundraise for the upcoming baseball season.

John, a four-time MLB All-Star and namesake of the famous surgery, and Vanderhook, Cal State Fullerton's head coach, were on hand to share insight into the game. Vanderhook was unable to speak to the baseball team privately.
