The Kennedy Thunderbirds were looking to stay undefeated while playing the McFarland Cougars. The top team in the S-S-L ran through McFarland 44 to 12.
The Bakersfield Drillers were looking to keep the wins coming against Frontier. That's exactly what they did, taking this game 34 to 20.
Highland High had the tough task of holding off the Foothill Trojans, they did just that winning 49 to 8.
