BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Arvin Bears have been looked at as an underdog all season long, but week one of the playoffs, the Bears played like anything but an underdog.
Last Friday, the took down the fifth ranked Shafter Generals as a 12 seed. It was largly in part to our FNL: Player of the Week Gil Medina.
The senior captain ran for 330 yards and three scores including a 95 yard-run that highlighted the night.

The win sets the Bears up to play fourth-ranked Strathmore this Friday on the road at 7 p.m.
