BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Cesar Chavez was the one of the last Kern County teams undefeated heading into week four of the high school football season while the East Bakersfield Blades were 2-1.
The Blades took a lead in the third quarter scoring two touchdowns and then scored a game winning touchdown in the final two minutes of the game.
East picking up their third win of the season beat the Titans, 24-20.
