BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Cal State University women's basketball team's first game in the WAC tournament was postponed Wednesday night.
The WAC tweeted that a "medical situation" will be postpone the game until Thursday at 9:30 a.m against Grand Canyon University.
Jeff Hurd, the WAC Commissioner confirmed to 23ABC that a person affiliated with either CSUB or GCU was brought to a local hospital to be examined for coronavirus.
"I've been in the business for roughly 45 years and never run across anything like this," Hurd said.
