BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — For the last time, the Cal state Bakersfield men's basketball team opened up their WAC schedule.
The 'Runners will move to the Big West next season but have one more conference slate to get through before the move happens. On Saturday night they hosted Grand Canyon University at the Icardo Center.
CSUB started hot but trailed by one with just 1:32 left in the game. Four De'Monte Buckingham foul shots, a Taze Moore layup and blocked shot helped them clinch the win 69-62.
The 'Runners start perfect in conference play and advance to 7-9 on the year.
