BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Coming into Saturday night's game against Kansas City, the Cal State Bakersfield men's basketball team was much more comfortable at home than on the road. Boasting an 8-6 record at the Icardo Center compared to a 3-9 record in away contests, CSUB looked destined to beat a skidding Kangaroo's team.

The Roadrunners began the game with a 6-0 run, but it quickly crumbled after that. The 'Roos went on to outscore CSUB 59 to 53, snap their skid and put the 'Runners under .500 in conference play.
