BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — After losing three straight games and unable to come away with a close one this season, the 'Runners were able to best Montana State, 74-72, at the Icardo Center on Thursday night.
Junior guard Taze Moore converted a pair of free throws with 12 seconds remaining and the Roadrunners made one last defensive stop to finish a back-and-forth battle throughout the night.
Cam Allen led the team with 15 points on offense while three other 'Runners scored in double digits.
Next up for CSUB is another Big West opponent as they hit the road to Cal Poly on Saturday.
