BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Condors organization has been waiting for the other 'skate to drop', since the A.H.L. suspended the current season two months ago, in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The American Hockey League officially canceled what's left of the 2019-20 campaign on Monday.
The Condors were already in preparation mode for next year when the news came, and will continue planning for the regular start time in early October.
But Team President Matthew Riley says his crew will also be ready to improvise, if the pandemic is still playing havoc with their schedule.
