BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield College Renegades volleyball team clinched the Western State Conference South Championship and are just a win away from putting up a perfect league record for their second straight season.
The 'Gades defeated West Los Angeles on Wednesday night 3-0. The team recognized eight sophomores before the game in what was their final home match in the regular season.
In the two seasons the sophomore played for B.C. they went a perfect 22-0 at home and have an 18-0 league record on the line. The team will travel to play Antelope Valley on Friday night to finish the job.
