BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Three Bakersfield teams are competing for titles during the Thanksgiving week.

Ridgeview cross country is chasing a second-straight state championship, the Bakersfield College volleyball team advanced to the second round of the CCCAA SoCal Regionals and the Bakersfield Christian Eagles are playing for their first valley championship in three years.

With so much for these teams to be thankful for, they all share how their gratitude goes beyond the chase for a title.
