TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Tuesday evening, Tehachapi Unified School District board members will meet to discuss their reopening plans in their second quarter of the school year.
The board is considering bringing more students back on campus during phase two of reopening, which is tentatively planned for January.
In phase two, students will now have a hybrid learning option which includes in-person and virtual classes. Schools will have to make sure their classes rotate when they're on campus to avoid overcrowding.
In phase two, students will also be able to play sports outside of school hours and follow social distancing protocols.
The board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. You can watch that meeting here.
