The iconic Dewar's Candy Shop is looking to bring a little sweet happiness during these difficult times. They are still open for take-out in the Bakersfield area.
"Dewar's gourmet Taffy Chews have been a family tradition for many since 1909 and are now shipped all over the world. Dewar's Candy Shop has been featured in Food Magazine, seen on the Food Network and [their] taffy Chews have even been enjoyed by celebrities at the Oscars & the Country Music awards,"
There are three locations in Bakersfield still open for take-out orders:
- 1120 Eye Street: Open 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Everyday
- 2700 Calloway Drive: Open 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; and 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday Saturday
- 11320 Ming Ave, Suite 300: Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday
