Macy's Inc. announced on Wednesday that they plan on hiring 80,000 temporary workers ahead of the holidays.
The company says 23,500 of those open positions will be based in fulfillment centers. This is a 31% increase in fulfillment center holiday workers compared to last year.
Last year, Macy's also hired 80,000 temporary employees, then opened 7,000 more positions in December.
