SAN JOSE, Calif. — After an on-campus lockdown, a suspected gunman has been apprehended on the campus of San Jose State University according to city police.
At 5:30 p.m. Thursday San Jose police responded to a call about a man brandishing a gun. Police chased the man into a building known as the Spartan Complex which was then locked down while officers searched the building.
Police detained a suspect later in the evening and found the weapon nearby. All lockdowns on campus have been lifted.
