Around 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning, the staff saw two inmates attacking a third inmate. Officers used less-than-lethal force options to stop the attack.

Staff immediately performed CPR on the victim, 44-year-old Enrique Hernandez, and transported him to a prison medical unit. He was pronounced dead at 11:13 a.m.

Officials identified 35-year-old Andrew Guzman and 35-year-old Andre Ortega as the suspects. Two inmate-manufactured weapons were also recovered from the scene.
