MALIBU, Calif. (KERO) — While many cities had little to no people at their New Year's Eve events, one beach in Malibu saw a large crowd of people gathered for a party on Thursday evening.
The event was organized by actor Kirk Cameron who invited people to the party through an Instagram post. This is the second time Cameron has posted an event despite the state health orders.
Many people were gathered at the event, none of them were wearing masks or social distancing.
According to the City of Malibu, events like this one are not allowed within city limits.
