Representative Kevin McCarthy, who was recently re-elected to represent the CA 23rd District, was also re-elected as Republican House leader.
House Republicans announced the decision in a tweet Tuesday morning:

McCarthy responded that he was honored to lead the House of Representatives.

In addition, House Republicans elected Rep. Liz Cheney as Conference Chair, Rep. Tom Emmer as NRCC Chair, Rep. Gary Palmer as Policy Chair and Rep. Mike Johnson as House Vice-Chair.
