PHOTOS: An unsung hero for the Bakersfield music scene

Local musician Scott died on June 3 at the age of 64 after a decades-long battle with Berger's disease. Thompsett made his name known in the Bakersfield music scene playing with The News Brothers and helping co-found local Ska band Mento Buru.
