President Trump's younger brother, Robert, has died at age 71.
"He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again," said the president in a statement Saturday night.
Robert Trump was admitted to a Manhattan hospital with an unspecified illness. He's had health problems for months.
The president visited him Friday and said he died the next day.
According to ABC News on Twitter Joe Biden made a statement sharing his sympathies.
"Mr. President, Jill and I are sad to learn of your younger brother Robert's passing. I know the tremendous pain of losing a loved one - and I know how important family is in moments like these. I hope you know that our prayers are with you all." said Biden.
