BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — President Joe Biden is reportedly planning to reveal details on a commission that would look at reforming the Supreme Court.

Biden first proposed a presidential commission last year. Currently, there are nine U.S. Supreme Court Justices, and the court is controlled by conservatives six to three.

Officials involved with the commission say the details are being finalized and could be unveiled as early as this week. In the past, Biden has vowed to appoint both Democrats and Republicans to any proposed commission.

The president has said he doesn't want to "pack the courts" but instead wants to look at how to reform the court system.
