FedEx is working to make returns easier. The company is going to stop requiring boxes and labels for certain return items.
The package delivery giant is partnering with e-commerce return technology company Happy Returns. The changes will allow customers to return some products in person with no label or box.
The process features an immediate refund or exchange from participating retailers.
In-person return service will be available at upwards of 2,000 FedEx locations across the United States.
The two companies say the service is going to start in Los Angeles and expand nationwide by the end of October. There will be at least one participating FedEx location in every state.
