Walt Disney parks haven't operated since March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, 43,000 employees will be furloughed starting April 19.
According to the New York Times , an agreement was reached by Disney World and the Service Trades Council Union.
The Service Trades Council Union, a combination of six labor unions and represents the service workers, announced the news on Saturday.
According to the agreement , workers will receive free health care benefits for a year and free education through the Disney Aspire program, which Disney pays.
About 200 union essential workers will stay on the job, the union said.
