BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Teachers all over the country have been finding ways to show their students that they miss having them in the classroom. Some school districts have done so by holding teacher drive-by parades throughout neighborhoods.
However, for one school, that wasn't an option.
Staff at Downtown Elementary school in Bakersfield has students from all different areas in Bakersfield so they couldn't have a parade of cars.
Instead, they decided they show students they cared through a picture collage.
Members of the staff took pictures holding up signs saying how much they missed their community.
