DELANO, Calif. — The Delano Police Department is sharing a warm message to the community through a safety video posted on Facebook.
In the video, officers and other DPD staff members remind the community about important protective measures to take during the coronavirus pandemic.
Those suggestions include properly washing your hands, practicing social distancing, and checking up on loved ones who are at-risk for contracting COVID-19.
The video also shared a message from DPD Chief Robert Nevarez thanking Delano's local businesses and residents for doing their part to help flatten the curve.
"I know it's not easy, but together we're going to get through this."
