BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The sports bar chain, Yard House, is coming to Bakersfield.
Construction for the California-founded restaurant has begun near Stockdale Highway near Calloway Drive. There is no confirmed date at this time of when the restaurant will be open. A "public notice of application" was posted at the construction site.
Officials with the city of Bakersfield, confirmed with 23ABC that "for all intents and purposes" a Yard House coming to Bakersfield. Jacqui Kitchen, Development Services Director, said that her "guess is that it will occur within the next few months."
The chain is known for its draft beers, American-fare food, and mac & cheese.
