Monday marks the 12th anniversary of the death of Bakersfield teenager Wendale Davis.
The 16-year-old was shot and killed on April 23, 2006. Wendale was in his car with a friend when another vehicle rolled up and one of the occupants opened fire, hitting and killing the 16-year-old.
According to Bakersfield Police, the suspect vehicle was described as a 1980s or 1990s Thunderbird.
No arrests were made and the case is considered a cold case.
A $50,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of his killer.
A vigil will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Union Cemetery at Wendale's gravesite.
