BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Friday the Umoja Community Club at Bakersfield College is holding its third annual Black History Month Conference.
They will have Doctor Afiya Mbilishaka - a psychologist and founder of the psycho-hairapist movement - which connects psychology and hair care as a keynote speaker. She will be speaking on 'untangling racial trauma'.

The conference will be virtual from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. It's open to anyone and you can register on their Facebook page.
