Two suspects wanted for strong armed robbery at Michael Kors

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted for allegedly stealing six handbags from the Michael Kors inside Valley Plaza Mall.

Officials say on March 17 the two suspects entered the store and grabbed six Michael Kors purses worth around $1,700. When the suspects tried to leave the store without paying, a female employee intervened but was reportedly struck by one of the suspects. BPD says the two suspects then left the store with the items.

The first suspect is described as an 18-year-old Hispanic male about 5'02" 140lbs, with short brown hair, and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

The second suspect is also described as a 18-year-old Hispanic man about 5'09", 160lbs, with short brown hair, and a slim build. He was last seen wearing white t-shirt, grey jeans and black shoes.
