Two men found at Fastrip with gunshot wounds

The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for any information regarding a shooting in central Bakersfield Sunday.

Around 3:45 p.m. July 1, BPD responded to the Fastrip on 34th and Q streets. One man was found with minor injuries from gunshot wounds. A second juvenile victim arrived at a local hospital shortly after, also with minor gunshot injuries. It was determined the two people were walking together when the shooting happened.

BPD said they believe the shooting occurred west of the Fastrip but have not determined where yet. They found shell casings on Panama Street.
