CASTAIC, Calif. (KERO) — Firefighters were battling a large brush fire off the Interstate 5 freeway in Castaic on Monday.
Officials say the fire was sparked by a tow truck off of the southbound side of the freeway which was engulfed in flames.
The LA County Fire Department and Angeles National Forest Services were fighting the fire which burned several acres of vegetation.
No injuries have been reported.
