Update: According to CHP, A traffic collision between a Lexus and a big rig happened this evening, just after 6 p.m.
Officials said that the driver, a Hispanic man, of the Lexus collided with the big rig on the Northbound side and succumbed to his injuries.
Officials said that the big rig driver is uninjured and that the cause for the collision is still unknown at this time.
At this time the right two lanes are still blocked.
Currently lane 3 and 4 are closed.
