Three suspects arrested in connection to the murder of a three-year-old Bakersfield boy were in court Wednesday.
29-year-old Myeshia Dale, 20-year-old Tyrone Johnson, and 19-year-old David Palms were all arrested in February of 2017 for the murder of 3-year-old Major Sutton.
Today, Dale was referred to Kern Behavioral Health during her competency hearing with an order from the judge to return in August.
However, Johnson and Palms learned their jury trial is set for October 19th.
According to police, on the night of Sutton's murder, Johnson and Palms kicked in the apartment door where Sutton lived. Police say they shot and killed Sutton and injured his mother and brother. Police say Dale was the getaway driver.
