School officials said that an 8th grade female was arrested at Leon H. Ollivier Middle School at around 1 p.m after writing threatening messages on the bathroom wall.
School officials with Greenfield Union School District and security personnel locked the bathroom until Bakersfield Police Department arrived and conducted an investigation into the conduct of the 13-year-old girl.
This arrest comes after threats were written on several bathroom walls across multiple high schools in Kern County.

A notice was released from the school which indicated the threats were not credible, however they are taking all precautionary and disciplinary measures. The notice indicates there may have been more than one single student involved, but officials said that one student was arrested.
The school was not ever in lock-down from this incident.
She was booked into Juvenile Hall for charges of causing a false emergency to be reported and vandalism.
There is no indication that the juvenile had the means to carry out the threat.
