WASCO, Calif. — A Wasco couple was arrested after officials found two illegal rifles, one of which was equipped with a bump stock, in their home.

According to officials, on Wednesday deputies with the Wasco Substation served a search warrant at a home in the area of 1900 Fern Tree Close. Officials said the search warrant was the culmination of a weeks-long narcotics investigation.

Inside, deputies found 24-year-old Angelo Cipeda and his wife 24-year-old Alma Cipeda.

During the search, deputies said they located 35 individual bundles of cocaine, totaling 21 grams. They also found two rifles which are illegal to possess under California law. Officials said one of the rifles was equipped with a bump stock, which allows the weapon to fire multiple rounds with the pull of the trigger.

Angelo and Alma Cipeda were arrested for Possession of Illegal Weapons, Possession of Cocaine for Sales, Keeping a Residence for Narcotics Sales, Willful Cruelty to a Child, and Conspiracy.

According to KCSO, two young juveniles were also taken into protective custody by Child Protective Services.
